How Golmadi came to be, what drives it, and what it sets out to do for Argentina's self-employed community.
Anyone who has worked as a monotributista or autónomo in Argentina knows the anxiety: the AFIP website is difficult to navigate, the tax calendar is complex, and the consequences of missing a deadline can be costly. Many workers rely on their accountant to remember important dates — but accountants manage dozens of clients, and a missed message or a busy week can mean a missed deadline.
Golmadi was built to address this gap. Not to replace professional accounting services, but to make sure that the basic calendar of fiscal obligations reaches every worker who needs it — reliably, on time, and without requiring them to check AFIP every day.
The format choice — WhatsApp — was deliberate. It's where Argentines already communicate, it works on any phone, and a message there is far more likely to be seen than an email or a notification from an unfamiliar app.
The principles behind how Golmadi monitors, filters, and delivers information.
Our team monitors AFIP's official website, the Boletín Oficial de la República Argentina, and other authoritative government publications on a regular basis. We track new resolutions, updated calendars, and announcements relevant to monotributistas and autónomos.
Not every regulatory change affects every worker. We categorize each piece of information by regime (monotributo or autónomo), category (A through K for monotributo), activity type, and geographic applicability. This categorization is what enables personalized delivery.
Once information is verified and categorized, we schedule alerts in advance. Where a deadline is known weeks ahead, we send reminders at multiple points — typically 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before. This advance notice is one of the core values of the service.
Alerts are sent through the WhatsApp Business API to subscribers whose profile matches the alert's criteria. Each message is written to be clear, brief, and actionable — including the relevant date, a plain-language description, and a link to the official source where applicable.
The commitments that shape how Golmadi operates.
We send fewer, better messages. Each alert is written to be immediately understandable without requiring the reader to look anything up.
Every alert includes a reference to the official source. We don't ask you to trust us — we point you to the primary document.
A same-day reminder is useful. A 30-day advance notice is transformative. We prioritize giving you time to act, not just time to panic.
We are an information service. We are transparent about what we do and what we don't do. We don't give advice; we share information.
We collect only what is necessary to deliver your alerts. No unnecessary data, no third-party marketing use, no surprises.
Golmadi is built by people who understand Argentina's fiscal system from the inside — its complexity, its pace of change, and its impact on independent workers.
We want to be clear about the boundaries of this service so you can use it appropriately alongside other professional resources.
We do not prepare, review, or file tax declarations of any kind.
We do not assess your individual tax situation or make recommendations about your fiscal choices.
We are not a registered accounting or legal practice and do not represent users before AFIP or any other authority.
Subscribe to Golmadi and receive alerts that are relevant to your specific tax profile — nothing more, nothing less.
